The Black Country Education Business Link Consortium was formed in March 2001 and comprises the key agencies involved in the planning and delivery of education business links in the sub-region. The BCEBL Consortium partners hold regular meetings to:

  • develop the strategy for education business links in the Black Country whilst taking account of the broader national, sub-regional and local contexts for educational change and economic and labour market influences
  • ensure that there is coherence and quality in the education business link provision across the Black Country
  • enable joint planning and delivery to take place
  • encourage joint applications for funding
  • monitor progress
  • encourage common systems and enable new products to be developed
  • share good practice and expertise
  • support all of the partners
